Being like a sport athlete, poker athletes consume their training on countless amount of hands and time. This proves itself later on the felt where agility meets mental strength and experience.
A poker athlete need to stay fit and on top of his toes to be card sharp. Busily grinding away can easily make the athlete forget of possible health threats.
Most athletes depended on adrenaline to stretch the limit. A poker athlete will feel this rush all the same. Hence with adrenaline too much in the system, it may be too late to realize that you are overworked. It is always important to know when to rest and play.
Playing online poker will mean spending more time in front of a screen. Having countless hours in a seated position reduces one's mobility and this could easily induce numbness along major part of human bodies.
